I've got a rather lucrative sideline going on at the moment... Event photography. I find it rather dull, but the money is good so I can't complain. It seems that the most important thing to remember is to be prepared. I'm shooting the launch party for a film festival in London tonight - should be pretty good. The party is in a particularly interesting bar, so there should be ample oppertunity to shoot with some great backgrounds. My biggest worry is getting over the "shyness" factor. To get in the zone where you can just go upto people and ask them if you can take their picture is strange for me. I think I need a bigger camera to hide behin
